farming system characterized by highly variable, semi-arid climate and poor soil conditions.
Agropastoral livelihoods rely on the integration of crop and pastoral livestock production and soil, crop and tree-based adaptive management practices that optimize resources and reduce risk and vulnerability. IBK Agropastoral is working to help Africa get out of this poverty.
Fertilizer
IBK has partnered with a major organic fertilizer provider “AgroPlasma” provider located in Spain. AgroPlasma developed the technology known as: I.C.E. “Inter cellular exchange”, transferring nutrients from bacteria cell to plant cells stimulating plant growth and its ability to absorb more nutrients from the soil using less energy.
